Soup Fundraiser

CATSKILL — Catskill United Methodist Church, 40 Woodland Ave., Catskill, will host a soup fundraiser 4-7 p.m. Feb. 9. Enjoy a variety of soups with bread and butter and a beverage. Cost is $10. For information, call 518-943-2042. Tickets available at the door.

Food and Fellowship Luncheon

NEW BALTIMORE — The New Baltimore Reformed Church, 52 Church St., New Baltimore, will hold the Food and Fellowship Luncheon noon-2 p.m. Feb. 13. The luncheons are held every second Wednesday of the month until May 2019.

The menu (subject to change) is baked cod with salsa, macaroni and cheese, tossed salad and cherry puffed pastries.

Following the meal there will be music by Phil Teumim and the Delmariners. This luncheon is open to all members of the community. To facilitate planning, reservations are encouraged by the Sunday before the luncheon.

If transportation or physical assistance is needed, leave that information as well. Dining space is limited to 60 seats.

Free will offerings are graciously accepted to offset food costs.

Flapjack Fundraiser

GLENMONT — Applebee’s Flapjack fundraiser for The Helderberg Christian School in Berne will be held 8-10 a.m. Feb. 16 at Applebee’s, 291 Route 9W, Glenmont. Tickets are $7 and include pancakes, bacon, coffee or juice. Advance tickets available through school office, 518-499-5416.

Indoor Tag Sale

CATSKILL — Temple Israel of Catskill, 220 Spring St., Catskill, will hold an indoor tag sale 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Feb. 15.

Goods for sale range from household goods, books, arts and craft items, and two incredible wooden doll houses with all the furniture. There will be an ongoing bake sale, a basket raffle, and 50/50 drawing. A snow date will be rescheduled for Feb. 17. For information, call 518-943-5758.

Valentine’s Italian Buffet

GHENT — The 10th annual Valentine’s Italian Buffet will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Ghent Reformed Church, 1039 County Route 22, West Ghent. Takeouts will be available for pick-up at 5 p.m.

This all-you-can-eat buffet includes numerous Italian dishes, salad, rolls and desserts. The cost is $15 for adults and $8 for children under 10. This dinner has sold out in the past, so get your tickets early. To reserve tickets, contact Dick Leggett at 518-392-2062 or the Church at 518-828-5946.

Treasures and Trifles Sale

CHATHAM — St. James Parish, 117 Hudson Ave., Chatham, will hold a treasures and trifles sale to benefit a community in Haiti 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 16 and 10 a.m.-noon Feb. 17.

Items for sale include household goods, knickknacks, baskets, jewelry, handbags, decorative items, dishes, glassware, holiday decorations, small appliances, lamps, small children’s toys, board games, puzzles, hand tools, garden goods, CDs, DVDs and so much more.
