The all female Krewe of Nereids will be decked out in their top hats and tuxedo tails adorned with glittering sequins and rhinestone pins. Participants are encouraged to wear Mardi Gras colors and the zaniest hat you can find. Not that there is a dress code for this informal event, but the hat can help deflect the Moon Pies that come sailing into the crowd at regular intervals.

The band plays on and the dancing never ends. All are welcome, always a good time.

Pirates of Lost Treasure 25th Anniversary Mardi Gras Floatilla – Perdido Key Sunset Grille – Saturday, Feb. 9 – 10:45a – 4p – Sunset Grille, Perdido Key

Join the Pirates of Lost Treasure on February 9th as they celebrate their 25th Annual PLT Mardi Gras Flotilla. Beginning at Sunset Grille at 10:45am and ending at the Flora Bama. They have special anniversary shirts for sale just for this event! Artwork done by Alan Woolford.

Krewe of Avant Garde Mardi Gras Ball – Friday, Feb 15 @ 6:00 – 10:00p – Pensacola Yacht Club

The Krewe of Avant Garde invites the community to their annual Mardi Gras Ball at 6 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Pensacola Yacht Club to show their support for our military and enjoy live music by Dr. Breeze, food, fun, and cash bar provided.

The Mardi Gras Ball Chair, Dean Kirschner, comments, “Our Mardi Gras Ball is open to the public to come and see what our Krewe is all about. Although we honor our military, you do not need to be in the military to join our organization or participate in our events. We are a social organization – no speeches and no agenda other than to have fun and honor those who serve and have served in our military.” The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour followed by dinner, program, and dancing. The parade will be held on February 16, 2019 at 6pm. Bring the family and join us for an evening of fun!

The Krewe of Airship Pirates is excited to announce the return on a Mardi Gras parade to downtown Milton, FL. More information and the parade application is available on their website, https://www.kreweofairshippirates.com/.

Parade Route: The parade begins at the corner of James St. and Stewart St. It then travels south along Stewart and ends at Elva St. (approx. 1.8 miles total.) Line-up is along Byrom St. and parking lot located just NORTH of the Community Center.

33rd Annual Navarre Beach Parade – Saturday, Feb 23 @ 1p – 4p – Navarre Beach

Hosted by Navarre Krewe of Jesters. The 33rd annual Navarre Beach Mardi Gras Parade is our main event! Come for family friendly fun, floats, and beads. Catch beads, trinkets, and the Mardi Gras spirit at this parade.

Pensacola Beach Kids and Kritters – Saturday, Feb. 23 @ 2p – 4p – Pensacola Beach, Casino Beach parking lot

Kids and Kritters Parade theme is “Paws, Love and Rock-n-Roll.” Get your mini float ready! All are welcome to join the youngest Mardi Gras revelers as they parade in their best Mardi Gras get-ups. Leading the parade will be the Krewe of Kids royal court, followed by their members. The Krewe of Kids is comprised of elementary school children.

Decorate your stroller or wagon and join the parade; or parade on foot. (No motorized vehicles, no pedal vehicles allowed) http://www.pensacolabeachmardigras.com/Events

  • Prize for best decorated “mini float” -decorated wagons and strollers
  • Prize for best costumed pets
  • Bring your well behaved pet, costumed, on a short leash or carrier to join the kids.

Krewe of Wrecks Grand Costume – Saturday, Feb 23, @ 8p ELK’S Lodge, Pensacola Beach

The theme is “Surf’s Up.” Tickets are $35 per person. Available at Krewe of Wrecks meetings and at the Door. Open to the Public.

Some masquerade in costumes and some in formal wear to herald Pensacola Beach’s original krewe at their Grand Costume Ball. The Krewe of Wrecks break all the rules for formal galas and set all the standards for fun. Rub elbows with Beach royalty. Additional Info: Melanie Waite at [email protected]

Krewe of Sparta Humanitarian Food Drive – Sunday, Feb. 24 – Noon to 4p – Manna Food Pantries – 3030 N. E Street, Pensacola

2019 Annual Krewe Challenge – All Krewe food drive challenge, benefiting our Manna Food Pantries and community. Double Points for Fruit Juice (48oz.), Caned Fruit in fruit juice, canned Chicken & Tuna, Oatmeal. There will be a separate pallet for double points. Food will be sorted into 3 categories when weighing (double points, dry goods, and canned goods). Please no flour or sugar. Two representatives from each Krewe allowed at scales, all other Krewe members to observe outside the weighing area. Winners & Final weights will be announced on Fat Tuesday!

Krewe of Lafitte Illuminated Parade – March 1 @t 7p – Downtown Pensacola

The parade takes place on Palafox and Garden Streets in historic downtown Pensacola.

Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade – March 2 @ 2p – Downtown Pensacola

The parade takes place on Palafox and Garden Streets in historic downtown Pensacola. The Parade starts at 2pm and continues until around 6pm.

The Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade is annually the largest and most extravagant parade in Pensacola. This parade itself, brings the most attention from the public and the highest traffic with attendees and participants numbering in the hundreds of thousands, is the largest gathering of people in Downtown Pensacola during the entire year. The Grand Mardi Gras Parade features most of the Krewes from the area, local organizations and companies and everything from marching bands to Scout groups. Many parade entrants come from out of town as well.

The parade has over 6000 people who participate in the parade, often over 100,000 t the parade. Media coverage is tremendous with the largest parade than we do, but none have any bigger.

The parade is broadcast live on WEAR ABC 3 on Sat. Mar. 2 from 2-4p and repeated on WFGX on Mar. 9 from 7-9p.

Street Dance – Saturday, March 2 @ 1p – Pensacola Beach

At the Sabine Sandbar, Pensacola Beach Blvd. There is no cost to attend this event! Dress in your most festive street dancing, waltzing, and boogie-ing clothes! This event is open to the public, be the first to congratulate the newly crowned Krewe of Wrecks Royalty! The Wrecks Royal Court has been known to lead a procession into the street for a brief, unauthorized dance, pending patient drivers and agreeable weather.

Krewe of Wrecks Parade – Sunday, March. 3 @t 2p – Pensacola Beach – Located at Via de Luna & Avenida 10 to Gulfside Pavilion

Rain or Shine! The grand event of Mardi Gras on the Island. 50 units. Over-sized floats with generous riders, marching units, Wrecks royalty.

Parade watchers: Come early and stay late. Eateries are open. Bistros welcome you. Pack your lunch or visit a beach restaurant. Bring your friends or make new ones. Mardi Gras on the Island is one of the biggest events on Pensacola Beach and attracts a huge crowd. Parking is limited. Kids of all ages will experience the thrill of catching beads and trinkets. Plan to stay all day.

Krewe of Wrecks Red Beans and Rice Luncheon – Monday, March 4 @ 11a – Sandshaker Parking Lot, Pensacola Beach

There is no cost to attend this event! Donations to charity are accepted. Dress Casual, to Business, to Mardi Gras Costume.T he Bean Team at the Elk’s Lodge spends days planning and preparing the traditional New Orleans style Monday fare. The spicy red beans and rice are ladled into bowls by the volunteers from the Pensacola Beach Woman’s Club. Thousands come for the free meal – Dining tables are lined up in the parking lot. Workers on their lunch hours dance with costumed krewe members under the tent. Drinks are available for sale. Tip jars collect cash to donate to local charities.
