Yay, it’s finally the weekend! With all this free time, we can finally do the things we actually want to do like hang out with friends, grill, and shop. Personally, I prefer to do all my shopping online from the comfort of my couch because it’s easiest to sift through all the incredible sales and really think about what I actually want. With Father’s Day coming up, there are already some massive sales to choose from.

But to make sure you’re actually getting a good deal, it’s important to research that its actually a good product and is actually at a good discount, and not just looking like a huge price drop. Here at Reviewed, we want to make sure you’re getting your money’s worth by testing products throughout the year and using price tracking tools. This weekend, we found incredible deals on meat thermometers, Sonos speakers, AncestryDNA kits, and more.

1. The best grilling thermometers for summer barbecues

These prob thermometers will help Dad master the grill this summer. (Photo: Reviewed / Lindsay D. Mattison)

Even if your dad considers himself a “grill master,” he could always use a little help determining the temperature of whatever he’s cooking to make the most succulent meat. That’s why a probe thermometer would make a great gift for Father’s Day. These fancy meat thermometers allow you to constantly monitor your meat’s temperature without opening up the grill and letting out precious heat. Right now, you can get two of our favorite probe thermometers at a discounted price.

The Thermoworks ChefAlarm is the best grilling thermometer we’ve ever tested because it was the most accurate probe we tested, and it was also the only one that you can calibrate, and right now it’s $8 off on the Thermoworks site. If you want something a little more affordable, we gave the Thermoworks DOT the Best Value award, and it’s also discounted 14% right now. We think Dad would love either for barbecues this summer.

2. Sonos One speakers at their lowest price ever

We just found the Sonos One speaker in the color white only for just $150 on Amazon. Typically priced at $180, this is huge deal even though its the first generation model. In fact, we’ve never seen these speakers dip below $155. People love these speakers because they’re fully compatible with Alexa, but packed with the high speaker quality we’ve come to expect from Sonos. Plus, it can interface with other Sonos speakers, which means you can have seamless music throughout your home. Plus, it could make a great gift for the music loving man in your life for Father’s Day.

3. A high-end blender for nearly half its price tag

Blend your way to healthy smoothies and frozen drinks. (Photo: Blendtec)

When it comes to making smoothies (or frozen beverages) in the summer, you’re going to want the best of the best. There’s nothing worst than enjoying your favorite smoothing and then inhaling a chuck of ice or unblended kale. And right now, you can save on an incredible professional blender, the Blendtec Designer 650, as part of a Deal of the Day on Amazon. While we haven’t tested this specific model, we generally love the way Blendtec blenders perform, and the 650 has eight speeds for smooth smoothies and creamy nut butters. Plus, it comes with a smaller jar that’s perfect for making things like hummus or baby food. It’s nearly half off right now, and would make a great gift for a smoothie lover or as a way to treat yourself.

Get the Blendtec Designer 650 at Amazon for $299.99 (Save $279.91)

4. Coffee makers so you can get over your Keurig

Save on two great OXO coffee makers this weekend. (Photo: OXO)

If you prefer more elite coffee in the morning compared to a Keurig, may we suggest a pour-over coffee maker or French press? Both are easy to use and right now, you can save on two OXO models of each coffee maker. After testing the best pour over coffee makers on the market, we really liked this one from OXO because it took the guesswork out of monitoring the brewing speed thanks to a water tank does the work for you. Meanwhile, the OXO Venture French Press Coffee Maker earned the title of the best plastic French press coffee maker we’ve ever tested. We loved that it’s dishwasher safe and shatterproof, and its spout has a filter, which helps keep out stray grounds and prevents splashes. Either is a great option to finally break up with your pod coffee habit.

5. The most popular DNA test kit at its lowest price of the year

Help Dad learn more about his roots for Father’s Day. (Photo: Ancestry DNA / Getty)

This Father’s Day, give Dad a chance to learn more about his heritage. Even though he babbles on an on about how his family came over on the Mayflower, he must be wondering if it’s true. To solve his ancestry woes, you can get AncestryDNA for $40 off and its lowest price of the year. We love this DNA test kit because it has more than 10 million users, so AncestryDNA can pinpoint your heritage to more than 350 regions and you have a higher chance of being connected to a long-lost relative, which Dad would honestly love. You can also get the DNA kit with its new Traits feature for just $20 more at any time, and this DNA test kit is also on sale at Amazon (but it is $10 more).
