Thanks to the remarkable, sustained generosity of its donors and volunteers, Charity’s Closet reached a new milestone in May, 2019. Since 2006, over $2 million has been donated to HIS House.
Every dollar donated goes towards providing safe shelter and supportive services for homeless men, women and children residing at HIS House. When people gain access to stable housing, families are healthier. Dignity is restored. The impact of Charity’s Closet has been far-reaching, and we can’t wait to see what this community of volunteers does next.

In 2006, Charity’s Closet opened its door to accept quality merchandise, including a selection of antiques and collectibles, men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel and shoes, books for every age, baby clothes and accessories, sporting goods, toys, house wares, linens, home decor, seasonal items, and jewelry, all at affordable prices. The all volunteer-led thrift store works hard to make sure the merchandise is always good quality, clean, and priced fairly. All proceeds are designated to support HIS House.
