Sterling Police Department investigates stolen bicycle, wallet

At 12:56 p.m. police responded to the 700 block of N. Third St. for a report of harassment.

Aug. 20

At 10:54 a.m. police responded to the 200 block of N. Fourth St. for a report of theft. A grey Roadmaster Granet Peak bike, valued at $150, was stolen.

At 11:08 a.m. police responded to 315 State St. for a report of trespassing.

At 9:09 a.m. police responded to the 400 block of Columbine St. for a report of vandalism/damage to property. A 1997 Nissan Maxima was damaged on its rear passenger side and a Carbon Express Predator target arrow was found.

At 3:13 p.m. Kyle Ray Tanser, 24, of Sterling, was issued a summons in the 100 block of Stone Ct. for public indecency.

At 9:30 a.m. Ana Ranadi Vair, 56, of Sterling, was booked into the Logan County Jail on a warrant out of Sterling Police Department for criminal mischief — $1,000 to $5,000 and domestic violence.

Aug. 19

At 3:31 a.m. Ethan Azariah Quinn, 27, of Sterling, was issued a municipal citation for disturbing the peace.

At 8:30 a.m. Chance RJ Snyder, 18, of Aurora, was issued a municipal summons at SPD for trespassing and damage to property.

Aug. 18

At 8:04 p.m. police responded to the 1100 block of Nottingham Ct. for a report of vandalism/damage to property. Stairs leading to the front doors and a blue panel to cover a trailer bottom were damaged.

At 4:57 a.m. Ethan Azariah Quinn, 27, of Sterling, was issued a citation in the 1100 block of Nottingham Ct. for disturbing the peace after he threw firecrackers at the side of a house.

Aug. 17

At 9:50 a.m. Marcus Bell, 47, of Las Vegas, was arrested in the 1100 block of King Ct. on charges of domestic violence and harassment.

At 11:48 a.m. Jerry Gene Smith, 50, of Sterling, was arrested in the 300 block of Hays Ave. on a warrant out of SPD warrant for violation of a protection order and violation of bail bond conditions.

Aug. 16

At 9 p.m. Morgan Jean Wright, 29, of Sterling, was issued a municipal summons in the 300 block of S. Sixth Ave. for theft.

Aug. 14

At 2:54 p.m. police responded to the 1500 block of Westview Dr. for a report of fraud.

Aug. 11

At 4:07 p.m. police responded to Sterling Oil and Gas, 213 E. Chestnut St., for a report of theft. Propane, valued at $50, was stolen.

At 7:57 p.m. police responded to the 400 block of Delmar St. for a report of theft. Two mason jar hanging lamps, valued at $5; two hanging plant baskets, valued at $24; two homemade dragon figurines, valued at $5; and 20 various pieces to make a fairy garden yard decoration, valued at $15, were stolen.

Aug. 3

At 9:58 a.m. police responded to the 1300 block of Westview Dr. for a report of vandalism/damage to property. A mailbox was damaged.

Aug. 1

At 9:20 a.m. police responded to the 500 block of Platte St. for a report of theft. A black leather wallet containing a Florida ID card and Social Security card was stolen from a vehicle.
